Our tooling operations develop and employ world class and world leading tooling solutions that include Mold Flow Analysis, fully integrated CAD/CAM systems, automated tool changing and CAV (computer aided verification - photo inspection). Internal heat treating equipment, high speed machining centers, ongoing reinvestment in new fitting equipment, and continuous focus on work flow ensure improvement in lead time, precision and quality. |

Stack molds, spin stack molds, insert molds and bi-component molds are all available through Nypro. In the Consumer & Electronics GBU, our molds are built for speed...both in terms of optimized cycle time as well as mold build lead time. Many molds are built with modular designs and designed directly in 3D to streamline the development. Pre-production molds are generally built in less than 2 weeks with production molds averaging approximately 4 weeks. Additionally, Nypro maintains tremendous experience in building high volume, long life cycle molds (1-5 million shots). |
